Over 25,000 pets go missing yearly. To combat this at the beginning of last year local business entrepreneur Cheryl Proctor started Micropet Matlock, a mobile microchipping service that avoids the stress of vet visits

For many pets, trips to the vet can be stressful experiences. In-home microchipping eliminates the need for car rides and unfamiliar surroundings, ensuring a calmer experience for your furry friend, and is complete in just a few minutes.

Cheryl, who is passionate about animals having grown up with cats and dogs and enjoys horse riding, is fully qualified and insured to microchip dogs, cats, and even rabbits values that her service assists owners in reuniting with their pets should they go missing.

Legally, dogs must be microchipped by breeders by eight weeks of age, and cats before 20 weeks, with non-compliance resulting in a £500 fine.

To book an appointment, please contact Cheryl at 07308 972 561 or Cheryl@micropet.co.uk.
