New loading bay and wider pavement on St John Street Ashbourne
With the town's revamp in progress, additional drop-ins have been scheduled for the public and local businesses to ask questions and discuss the programme's delivery. Ashbourne Reborn representatives will provide information at drop-ins on Monday 9 June (4:30pm-7pm) and Wednesday 18 June (4:30pm-7pm) at Ashbourne’s Elim Church, Waterside Business Park, DE6 1DG.
Wider pavement and additional footpath on east side of the bridge Dig Street
These sessions are open to all and will cover future plans for Ashbourne, allowing attendees to inquire about the design, location, timing of the works, and raise any concerns about the two main projects.
St John Street will remain closed until September 2025 and
Dig Street will be inaccessible to traffic until October 2025. Additional minor
works are planned for Church Street and Station Road from October to December
2025. These tasks will be executed by the District Council rather than the
contractor and were pre-scheduled, representing no alteration to the current
programme.
